1. Payment Terms
1.1. Payment Methods: Payments can be made via bank transfer, mobile money, or other approved methods as communicated by Jumbo Chem Kenya Limited.
1.2. Payment Period: All online sales are on an upfront payment / cash basis.
1.3. Quotation Validity & Currency Exchange: All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. However, quotations issued in foreign currency are subject to the prevailing Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) exchange rate at the time of payment.
1.4. Prepayments: For special orders, a 70% deposit is required before production begins and 30%
1.5. Disputes: Any disputes regarding invoices must be raised within 7 days of receipt. Failure to do so will be considered acceptance of the invoice.
2. Delivery Terms
2.1. Delivery Locations: only offer direct deliveries within the Nairobi Metropolitan area. Deliveries will be made to the address specified in the order confirmation. For countrywide deliveries, the customer may make their own transport arrangement. Where requested, Jumbo Chem may contact and refer third-party transporters to the customer for delivery at the customer’s cost and liability.
2.2. Delivery Timeframe: Standard delivery by Jumbo Chem is within 2 – 5 business days, subject to stock availability.
2.3. Delivery Charges: Delivery charges will be communicated during the order process and included in the final invoice.
2.4. Risk of Loss: Jumbo Chem can only be held liable if the goods delivered are damaged in transit, where Jumbo Chem is either delivering the goods or has outsourced delivery to a third-party transporter.
2.5. Delays: Jumbo Chem Kenya will not be liable for delays caused by factors beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, transportation strikes, or supplier issues.
3. Goods Return Policy
3.1. Eligibility for Returns: Returns are only accepted for defective or damaged goods and must be reported immediately on delivery and confirmed by our representative/driver at the point of delivery/receipt. Jumbo Chem Kenya will not be liable for damaged goods delivered by third party transporters.
3.2. Return Process: To initiate a return, contact our customer service team with proof of purchase and photos of the defective items.
4. Partner Policy
4.1. Partnership Eligibility: Partners must be registered businesses in good standing, with relevant certifications and licenses.
4.2. Responsibilities: Partners are expected to promote Jumbo Chem Kenya products ethically and in compliance with applicable laws.
4.3. Termination: Jumbo Chem Kenya reserves the right to terminate partnerships with 30 days’ notice or immediately in cases of misconduct or breach of these terms.
5. Data Privacy Policy
5.1. Data Collection: We collect and store customer data, including contact details and purchase history, to improve our services.
5.2. Data Usage: Customer data will only be used for order fulfillment and communication with the customer.
5.3. Third-Party Sharing: We do not share customer data with third parties
5.4. Data Security: Jumbo Chem Kenya employs robust security measures to protect customer data from unauthorized access.
5.5. Customer Rights: Customers have the right to request update of their data in writing.
6. General Policies
6.1. Warranty: We offer product warranty where applicable.
6.2. Force Majeure: Jumbo Chem Kenya will not be held liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
6.3. Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya.
6.4. Amendments: Jumbo Chem Kenya reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, with updates communicated on our official website.
